1. How does your billing work?

We work in a post-payment format, where a client can pay:

  • Once per week;
  • Once per month;

Payments are based on how much time a candidate tracked on a client’s project.

2. What payment options do you have?

We accept payments via the following payment methods:

  • Wise (https://wise.com/);
  • Payoneer (https://www.payoneer.com);

3. What is New Wave Devs?

New Wave Devs is a middleman IT provider for startups and mid-sized companies.

4. What is the difference between you and other service IT companies?

We started working with the Global market in 2019 and have a strong understanding of how different markets work. Our first company at New Wave Devs was a client in Saudi Arabia with whom we grew from a startup to an enterprise level and we are still working together. You may check our partner here.

5. Is there a minimum project duration?

We are working with contracts of 3+ months of work. The average contract duration at New Wave Devs is two years. Many customers have continued employing New Wave Devs for years!

6. What technologies do you work with?

We commonly have Ruby on Rails, Node, React, Angular, Vue, Javascript, Swift, Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, Java, UI/UX, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science on tap. But go ahead and let us know what particular stack you are looking for.

7. Are there any upfront fees?

No extra charges.

8. Do your candidates speak good English?

All our candidates can write and speak in English, and part of our candidates know how to speak other languages, like Arabic, Ukrainian, Turkish, Albanian, etc.

9. Where are your candidates located?

Mostly, they are from Pakistan, Eastern Europe, and Africa.

10. How do you check candidates?

We pass several stages with every candidate together with their soft and hard skills:

  • Check their CV and Portfolio;
  • Coding test task;
  • Live interview.
11. What are your hourly rates?

Typically, our rates vary from 15$ to 40$, depending on the level of experience a candidate has.

12. Do I get to communicate with the developer directly?
Yes.
13. Can I interview and test the developer on my own?

Sure, why not.

14. How experienced are your developers?

Most of our developers are middle and senior ones with experience from two to ten years.

15. Where is your office located?

We have legal entities in the USA and Ukraine. At the same time, we all work remotely, and our core team work often together in different parts of the world.

16. Do you work using a fixed-price model?

Unfortunately, this is not our case.

17. How much time does it take to hire a candidate from you?

It takes from 30 minutes to 2-3 days to hire a candidate from us and start working.

18. How to start working with you?

19. Do you use software to track the developer’s progress/ working hours?

Yes, we use Toggl to track candidates.

20. I have an issue with the candidate, what should I do?
