CardinalTalent is a San Francisco AI-recruiting platform that matches top tech talent with roles at leading companies and startups through a human-assisted-AI approach. They came to us at the moment that makes or breaks a young product: it worked, but it could not scale, and we were the team brought in to fix that for good.
The product had grown messy after a fast MVP build. The codebase and architecture were in rough shape, every new feature was getting slower and riskier to ship, and the whole thing was heading for a wall.
We took the backend in hand and rebuilt the foundation: refactored and rewrote modules, stripped out hundreds of lines of dead code, made the architecture decisions for real scale and performance, sharpened the documentation, and put a proper test suite in place. What was a fragile MVP became a clean, fast, well-documented platform the team could finally build on with confidence.
