HanoverCRM is the go-to CRM platform for international exchange programs – J1 visa sponsors, education abroad institutions, recruitment agencies, and placement organizations. The platform manages the full lifecycle of exchange programs across 16+ countries: participant registration, compliance tracking, partner management, document workflows, and post-placement reporting. Today they run multiple products including Lighthouse (support desk) and an AI Context Playbook – a serious enterprise operation.

When NWD joined the engagement, HanoverCRM was running several enterprise-level applications on legacy Rails code, each heavily customized for different clients. The core team was strong but stretched – client demand for new features was outpacing delivery capacity, and the underlying codebase needed a full modernization to support the company’s growth.
