Herokey GmbH

Herokey is the white-label event platform, ticketing, cashless, accreditation and reporting, behind the Goodlive festival group, a Live Nation company. The platform and the team behind it are the same. It powers names like splash! (around 50,000 visitors), Lollapalooza Berlin and Melt. This is the engine behind nights tens of thousands of people remember, and it has to be flawless on the one day that matters most: when tickets drop.

Herokey’s own site is offline at the time of writing. The platform powers the festivals of the Goodlive group (goodlive.ag), a Live Nation company.

The platform could not comfortably handle the volume the festivals threw at it. Conversion was low, bugs were piling up, and the architecture simply was not built to survive the festival-season rush.

We rebuilt the architecture for scale so the platform holds the spike the moment tickets go on sale, hardened performance and reporting, and put in a proper test suite and strong CI. The result is event tech that stays standing exactly when the whole business is on the line.
